Leaving your home and going to another country can be exciting but at the same time, it can also be challenging. San Ignacio University wants to fully develop your potential to help you fulfill your educational and professional goals.

How do I apply to San Ignacio University?

In order to complete the admissions process, the candidate must meet and submit the following requirements:


  1. Completed signed and dated international Admissions Form.
  2. A non-refundable application fee of $80 dollars made payable to San Ignacio University.
  3. Payment of the registration fee in the amount of $1,600 for the Culinary Program or $875 for Marketing, International Business, Hospitality Management and Business programs must be paid in full before the I-20 is processed (payment is fully refundable if Visa is denied).
  4. Financial statement or certified bank letter in English demonstrating full tuition funds available along with living expenses capability to cover a minimum of one year (12 months) of tuition, fees, books, supplies, living and any other necessary expenses during your studies. (Amounts must be in or converted to USD currency).
  5. Affidavit of support form in case of sponsor.
  6. High School diploma translated into English. For undergraduate transfer students, if transcripts and educational credentials are not in English, they must be translated.
  7. If a student’s native language is not English, proficiency in English must be established by one of the following options:
    —Satisfactory Standardized Test Score as PTE (54), TOEFL (70 - IBT) or IELTS (6.0).
    —San Ignacio University English Test.
    —Proof of graduating from a college or high school where English is the primary mode of instruction.
    —Completing an ESL program at an institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
    —Completing an ESL program at San Ignacio University.
  8. Copy of a valid passport (upon admissions).
  9. Copy of SEVIS / I-901 Receipt

Where is San Ignacio University?

Is centrally located in Miami’s Doral district, a luxurious area at west of the Miami International Airport. The Univesity is near parks and important tourist attractions such as the Doral Golf Club, Dolphin Mall and Miami International Mall, as well as internationally renowned corporate offices.

International students should begin the admission process at least 6 months before classes start in order to leave enough time to complete your visa requirements and obtain all the documents required to apply for admission.
