6 tips to stay healthy and give 100% in class. 

College is all fun and games, until you start stressing out and getting sick because of low defenses. That’s why eating clean and building healthy habits goes a long way in keeping you from getting sick during the semester.

Here are 6 tips that will help you do just that:

  1. Get enough sleep. If you’re one of those students who go to bed very late only to wake up very early, it might be time to change that. Our body needs 7-8 hours of sleep to function properly.
  2. Have a balanced diet. Not only will it help you keep those dreaded extra pounds away, it will also make you feel better.
  3. Drink a lot of water. All our organs need water to work. In addition, by drinking enough water you will avoid headaches and dizziness.
  4. Exercise. Working out releases endorphins, which will lift your spirits after a tough day.
  5. Down time. It can be hard, but the idea is to find some time to relax during the day.
  6. Fight germs. Make sure you wash your hands frequently and use antibacterial gel.
