Simple rules for being productive and effective

Follow these rules and do better in class.

We’ve all felt overwhelmed by our workload at one point in our lives. There’s so much we want to (or even have to) do at the same time, we don’t know where to start and certainly can’t do our best. Student life is not easy; we know many of our students might be struggling with this, which is why we’d like to share these 3 simple rules for being more productive and effective.

  1. Do less: Sometimes students want to take too many classes at the same time, this will only generate a heavier workload than you can handle. Make your time count.
  2. Do better: Focus all your efforts into the activities you do best. Try to do one thing very well, instead of undertaking many projects you won’t be able to finish.
  3. Know why: If you follow these 2 previews rules, you will do great in all your classes. Know yourself, be aware of what you can and can’t do, then focus on your strong suits.

Also, have a daily routine, so you can be organized and therefore, more productive. Let go of the feeling that you must do everything at once; do things at your own pace. These 3 rules might be simple, but trust us when we say they really work.
